Capturing Young Love: Mikala and Joann's Engagement Photoshoot at Gates Pass

Mikala and Joann's engagement photoshoot at Gates Pass in Tucson was a beautiful and romantic experience. As a wedding photographer and videographer, I was thrilled to capture the love and connection between this young couple.

I first met Mikala and Joann via Zoom. They were both shy but as soon as they started talking about their love story and their future plans together, their faces lit up and I knew right then and there that this was going to be an amazing photoshoot.

We began the shoot at Gates Pass, a stunning location in Tucson known for its breathtaking views of the mountains and desert. I recommend parking at the Gates Pass Trailhead at the top of the mountain! Most of these photos were taken only a couple hundred feet away from the parking lot! The couple brought their dog with them, adding an extra layer of cuteness and fun to the photoshoot. They were a bit nervous about how their dog would behave but as soon as we got to the location their furry friend was running around and having a great time.

As we explored the different areas of Gates Pass, we captured a variety of images, from candid shots of the couple laughing and playing with their dog, to more posed and romantic moments. The light was perfect, and we were treated to an amazing sunset as we wrapped up the shoot.

The results of the shoot were truly stunning. Mikala and Joann's love for each other shines through in every image, and the natural beauty of Gates Pass provides the perfect backdrop. I am so grateful to have been a part of this special moment in their relationship, and I can't wait to capture their wedding day.

If you're planning an engagement photoshoot, consider Gates Pass in Tucson. The location offers a unique blend of natural beauty and desert charm, and the sunset is truly breathtaking. And if you're looking for a wedding photographer and videographer, look no further than TS Cinema. We would love to capture every moment of your special day, so you can relive it forever!

Love Takes Flight: An Engagement Photoshoot Airplane Adventure

When it comes to capturing the love and excitement of an engagement, we at TS Cinema believe that the sky is the limit. And for this particular photoshoot, that's exactly where we went - on a small airplane ride with a Madison and Eric who met at flight school. We shot at the Arizona Aerotech flight school, west of Gates pass in Tucson, Arizona before sunset to begin our session!

Eric, being a pilot himself, even killed the engine mid-flight to give us the experience of zero gravity. It was a thrilling and unique moment that we were able to capture on camera, and the couple was absolutely thrilled to have these once in a lifetime photos to treasure.

But the adventure didn't stop there. After landing, we headed out to capture some more memories during the absolutely stunning Tucson sunset. The beautiful colors of the sky provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's love and affection to shine through in the photos. It was truly a magical experience.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture these special moments for the couple and to have been a part of their love story. We can't wait to see where their love takes them next, but these photos will always be a reminder of the adventure they shared together.

Fall Wedding at Hacienda Del Sol

Filming and photographing a wedding at the Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson, Arizona was an absolute dream come true. The stunning desert landscape provided the perfect backdrop for Janice Yu, a New York news reporter, and her new husband to exchange vows and celebrate their love.

Located just outside of Tucson, the Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is a luxurious oasis in the desert. The resort boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a variety of charming accommodations, including guest rooms, cottages, and villas.

On the day of the wedding, the weather started our rainining but soon cleared up. The sun started shining and the sky turned a gorgeous blue, providing the perfect lighting for both photography and videography.

As the ceremony began, Janice and her husband exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony was filled with emotion and love, making it a truly special moment for all in attendance.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their wedding party took advantage of the stunning surroundings for some beautiful photo and video opportunities. The desert landscape provided the perfect backdrop for candid shots of the happy couple, as well as more formal posed photographs.

As the evening approached, the reception took place in a beautiful outdoor reception area, decorated with twinkling lights and stunning floral arrangements. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic, and the wedding party danced the night away under the stars.

Spring Wedding at Hacienda Del Sol

Photo Session at Hacienda Del Sol

One of my personal favorite things about this wonderful Tucson resort is that there are a ton of great spots that are tucked away for different photoshoot vibes!! My personal favorite is the secret patio that showcases to the gorgeous vista of the Catalina Mountains and La Paloma Resort. You have to go through the Grill restaurant to gain access to this patio, so I would certainly recommend going at a moment where there aren’t a ton of people! I have made my way through there during peak dinner time and all eyes are on my couples!

We made our way next to the front of the Grill restaurant next, outside near the main fountain with gorgeous cactus that are a standout at the venue! The Arizona sun shines right against the cactus and blends well with any couple in front!

Becca and Ben tied the knot in Sedona, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating their reception with their closest friends and family members in the main Hacienda Del Sol courtyard.

Madera Canyon Engagement Session

Gorgeous engagement session in Madera Canyon, Arizona

Forest in Madera Canyon

There is nothing like seeing leaves fall in Arizona. Located 45 minutes south of Downtown Tucson is a gorgeous fall filled mountain landscape that was a perfect location for Kassandra and Eddie. Madera Canyon is one of those locations that speaks volumes about how there are a multitude of different climates and vegetation here in Arizona.

Tucson is one of those perfect centralized hubs where you can have both snow, desert and forest landscapes all within an hours drive. There really isn’t anything like it anywhere else in the world.

Picacho Peak Engagement Shoot!

I want to run away with you to a place where there is only you and me 🏜

With cool weather starting, I had a blast with Heather and Allen at Picacho Peak State Park for a gorgeous engagement session during golden hour! There really is nothing quite like the Arizona sun during sunset, eliminating the land even if for a brief few minutes ☀️

We met half an hour before sundown, just enough time to get everything situated before heading off and finding a location. We settled on a spot on the north side of the peak, as the sun began to set next to the closest peak.

Ultimately, this became my new favorite engagement shoot location! With gorgeous scenery, ease of access to use the park, a very small fee, and with the cool weather now here. .this is the perfect photo-shoot spot!

This Engagement Video Session was a KNOCKOUT!

In leiu of everything going on, its nice to be able to take a step back and enjoy the little things. Roll with the punches, if you get my pun!

This couple met at Boxing Inc in Tucson, Arizona and their love story blossomed from there. Amber went to try out Boxing one day and met a trainer named Nicholas. What started as a simple boxing training course, growed into a fruitful and loving relationship. Now years later, they are planning their wedding together!

We brainstormed ideas for there video engagement session, and it seemed like a natural fit to go back to where they first met. Where their love story first began.

Since their wedding isn't until next April, they wanted a a video engagment film so they could share with friends and family to remind everybody that they are exactly one year away from tying the knot!

In the end, you could say this Engagement shoot was a KNOCKOUT!
